* What did you learn about yourself as a reader from creating and keeping up with your blog?
To start off, I would like to say blogging is actaully not that bad. Going into this year, I hated the fact that we had to blog aboiut outr book every single week. But now that I have been able to write deeply into my books on this website, I feel that it changed my whole mindset as a reader. I am now able to expand and elaborate on tiny topics and little notes all because of this website. To tell you the truth, I am suprised that I kept it up.
* Is writing online different than in a notebook? In what ways?
Actually, it is pretty much the same. I feel like I could have done this in my notebook the same exact way but I feel a notebook can limit you. When you say one page, I actually try to write ONLY one page in my notebook, but since there is an unlimited amount of room on the website, I could write on and on.
* Do you think that teenagers abuse the freedom that being online gives you on sites like facebook? Do people type things they would never say to a person's face? Do you think this is a good or bad thing? Why?
Teenagers are always abusing the freedom that the internet gives you. The internet is a gift that we have been blessed to have, and I feel us teenagers should be using it wisely. In other words, do not do anything that you may end up regretting. Like saying things about someone, and also putting things up like pictures or videos that may be harmful. And overall, it is a terrible thing because it is nowhere near beneficial.
* Do you think that people are more real online or do we create online personalities that project the best of ourselves? Or something else?
Just like I said before, some people do things that they end up regretting. For example, pretending to be people that they really arent, as well as creating personalities that do not really fit them. THis is horrible because everyone should be true to themselves and should also be thankful for what they have. But this doesnt go for everyone, so the good need to keep on staying good!
Well, that was my last blog post... BYE EVERYONE!!!!!

Philosophy
Since we are still on the topic of philosophy as well as politics, I'm guessing that I should write about my book club book in a way that has to do with these two topics. It is going to be a little hard because it is a complicated book, but whatever!
The book has to deal with many things. Clones, money, drugs, and many other things. But as the book goes deeper and deeper, I am sort of seeing this theory of upper classes, lower classes and also middle classes. For example, the upper class, being the main family, thinks of everyone as terrible peopl. Which in this case these people are lower than them, or in other words, the lower class. I feel that these parts of the book, even though iut is science fiction, has a lot to do with politics. It also seems like the master, Matteo, is the government and he is in control of everyone else. I will say no more due to possible giving away of the book.
SO there is my take on politics in the book. I hope you enjoyed. Until next time...

Scorpions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
It was a very good thing that I agreed to read the book, The House of the Scorpions by Nancy Farmer. It is a great book, at least so far, but I have a feeling it is going to be a crazy and twisted book. Within the first three chapters, there was blood, drugs, and clones. That is just crazy! I can't wait till my book club gets to the end because I know that there is going to be some sort of suprised ending. :)
The story is about a clone named Matt who is a shy kid when it comes to meeting other kids. Especially since he is not supposed to leave his house because of what he is. But one day, he heard voices at the door. Which then he saw three kids that live in the richer house. He gets hurt and they take him too their house which then leads to bad things. This is where I stop because I will give too much away of the book. I do have one question though. Why do they treat him like crap, if he is a clone. He was made so that he is similar to us humans. He acts normal, eats like a human, has characteristics of a human. So why would he be treated like a animal. He does have his own traits. Genes, and even DNA. Scientifically speaking, he was produced by one parent. Or in other words asexually. It is a normal thing to many others. Maybe the person who is his creator is an animal, but not Matt. The point is, he should not be treated like an animal, as well as like he has no freedom (He was not able to do anything without hie "mother"). Everything on earth is free, so why not treat him like he is supposed to be treated.
Anyways, I changed my mind about book clubs. THey don't suck eggs after all. They are pretty cool. Until next time!!!!

My Book, and my thoughts on book clubs
The book that I am currently reading is called CrackBack as some of you may know , and I am enjoying it alot. It seems like the main character is becoming stressed out as well as depressed at the same time now. He is trying to get past a notso well relationship with his father, but it is not working out for him.
I feel that he should have a really long, but nice talk with his father because you are supposed to be able to discuss anything with your parents. If not, you should try to work something out so that you will be able to in the future. Also, I feeol that he needs to man up and be able to take critism. He is like seventeen years old and he acts like a little baby!! My brother is six and he can take more critism than him.
Anyways, I wonder what is going to happen zat the end of the book. Oh yeah, and by the way... BOOK CLUBS SUCK EGGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My new book :)(:
I am currently reading a new book named "The Life you Imagine" by Derek Jeter. I had the book for a while now, and I finally decided to be engaged in it. It is a book about life, and success and ethics in a way. I just realized that I like alot of books like this. Anyways, he also shares some stories about his childhood and teenage years (so on so forth) that deal with the topic of each chapter (It is an autobiography).
It is a great book. I love the way he doesn't only talk about how to live a life. He puts things in the book like, make your own decisions, and be sure to lead your own life. He also gives you examples of why to follow what he is saying, by giving his own life situations. In one part of the book, he says to always trust your parents, and listen to them. He says that when he was a tenn, he and his friends got in trouble for bothering some girls at a slumber party by throwing rocks at the window of their house. The reason why they got in trouble was because they were out too late, and D.J's. car was abandoned which led to his parents finding out, and him getting into trouble for being out past his curfew. So you should always listen too your parents (unless they are phsycos) because they know what is right for you.
Those who like baseball should read this book. I find it very interesting, as well as funny. I hope I will be able to write a book just like this, so I can help kids get their mind straight. Until the next time...

CrackBack....... I will crack yo back!!!
The title of the book that I am currently reading is called CrackBack by John Coy. It is about a kid who is an excellent football player who does not like the way his coach and dad talks to him about his football play. It does go deeper into that, but right now, I want to tell you alittle more about the book.
The main character, Mile, again is an excelent football player. He is the leader of his team as well as a great person. He was jammed for his home- opener because he was working hard all season long. He did great and his team won by a blow out. He wanted to celebrate with his team, but his coach did not let them. He told them that they played okay and that the other team was sucky which is the only reason that they had won. Miles was furious but he did always know that his coach was like this Any ways, he went back home to talk with his dad about the game but the only things that his dad had to say, were negative.
His dad also said that the team sucked and that he could have played better. Instesad of giving im compliments and complimenting him on his interception and touchdown. Miles did not like this, and I totally agree with him and also know what he went through. I sometimes feel that my dad may do that even though 90% of the time he does give me compliments about my play. The other 10% I do not like but I do no that I have to accept critizsm. So I would just tell Miles to suck it up and be a man.
That is all folks.

:) :) :) :) :) :) ;)
I am still reading that successful book I blogged about last 3 weeks ago and I still find it great. I am reading it at my own pace, and I feel it is teaching me a lot about how I should live a smart and healthy life. I hope I remember everything ht is in this book when Iam older because these pieces of advice could lead me to being successful. Like I said before, I want to be successfull!!!
When I first started the book, I noticed that it talked alot about life issues and how people always want to jump forward and skip key, essential things that are very important. For example, trying to do too much instead of doing what is actually needed to do. So I though, IS this book only going to talk about life? Then I came across this chapter about dealing with money and my thinking smacked me in the face.
The chapter was aout spending your money. There was one thing that was written in this chapter that was amazing in my eyes. It read... You do not have to buy everything you want, only the things you need (this was not a direct quote). I feel that this is greatly said and great advice as well. That is why I have decided to make sure I do not waste money I now know that I should save it, and use it when needed. All thanks to this book.
