The book that I was writing about for the past two weeks, was getting really boring, so I stopped reading it. So I went through my bookcase, and stumbled upon a book named Of Sound Mind. I havn't really read the book yet, but I did read the blurb and it sounds amazing. Actually, it sounds so good, that I might finish it in 3 days, and thats a pretty thick book.
Anyways, it is about a girl named Dallas that is all sweet and everything, until she and her friends get caught in an attempt to stick up a convenience store and end her up in jail. But the really bad part about it, is that all of her "friends" deny all involvement with her.
Then she meets a girl in jail, and finds out that the girl has alot of things in common with her, but also has alot of troubles and obstacles greater than hers.
I can't wait to start reading this book. I feel like I might really enjoy this book and end up wanting to read it a second time. Maybe Jean Ferris might make me really enjoy her books, and make me put her in my top 5 list for favorite authors.
Until next time...

STILL wondering...
In the last blog entry I wrote, I told you readers about my curiosity about the tile and it's relations with the character Evie. And now I am writing to tell you that my curiosity is still curious. That's only because I havn't read any major clues in the book yet. Well that, and I've been reading a different book, but anyways I'm starting to think that this book isn't the right level for me. in other wods, this book is for a fifth grader, but I will still finish it.
Now lets move on. Since the title of the book is The GARDEN of Eve, I wonder why they havnt talked about seeds yet. I mean you do start a garden off by planting seeds so why not talk about them?
See now I wonder again... Is the author going to add the seeds in little by little and end up making them a huge part of the book? Or is she not going to add them in at all and prove that she doesnt know what a garden is? Hopefully she doesnt choose the second one.
And again, I will be writing again when i get some real info. about the relations between The title, and Evie.

The Garden of Eve.... What is it?
In the prolouge of my current reading book, the characters describe Evies'dads gardens as magical full of excitement. Although her dad doesn't think the same, her moms believes it, and so does young Evie.
After a few years,Evies' mom dies and her and her father decide to move away from the family and go to New York. But she just keeps thinking about what her mom said to her when she was young. Anyways, along the way the drive past a funeral, and see a very pale boy who was almost ghostly looking. OC-WARD. That's all I read up to so far, I was just giving you a little summary about it.
So lets cut to the chase. What does the title (The Garden of Eve) have to do with anything? I'm thinking that Eve,
represents Evie, and the garden is going to be what her mom was telling her about which ends up becoming The Garden of Eve. But who knows, it may be a garden that is named after an evil witch or magical creature since the gardens are magical right?
Since I just started reading the book, and are only 20 pages into the book, I have nothing else to say. But once I get down more clues and details into the name of the title, and what's it's purpose, I will be blogging about it again.
Until Next Time...

Facts that I've learned from my current reading book
Baseball is a sport that I love. And even if some of you readers really don't like baseball or just hate it, I shall give you some facts about the game that I have learned from my book "Grand Slam Baseball", and tell you what it really is and maybe even how I feel about it.
The game is about talent, strength, hard work, dedication, and smarts. Without those five things, there is now way you will be able to make a career out of it. Unless you get lucky. But besides all of that, I feel baseball should noticed because of it's classy, and well behaved citizens that are committed to it. Yes, the major-leaguers are full of talent and love it dearly, but I feel that the attitude's of the players towards others is really what should be noticed.
Babe Ruth is a great example of this. He always would look out for his teammates when need of help, as well as kids because he knew it was the right thing to do. One year in 1931 he played Santa Clause for hundreds of kids at city hospitals putting a smile on his face, and many others.
Now, I will give you some very interesting facts about the game of Baseball.
So baseball isn't that bad right. It can be funny, crazy, calm and very exciting. Actually, it can even be very painful and sad. You can find that out by watching it, or even going on YouTube. So give it a try, you may actually enjoy it.

- Mordecai Brown was a great pitcher of his time. In fact one of the best. But the funny thing is, he was great with only three fingers on his throwing hand. He is now called, Mordecai "Three-Finger" Brown.
- My most favorite quote came from an amazing pitcher that had incredible accuracy named Satchel Paige and he said "Throw strikes, the plate don't move."
- Back in the day, short people dominated the game of baseball including a 5 foot 6 player with a size six shoe (I wear a size seven).
